Style Imitating Art: Caves of Lascaux

Welcome to Style Imitating Art!
I'm so excited to share this post with you guys!

Here is Steph from Thinkings of a Thirty Year Old in her fabulous skirt and belt.

This is Jess of Animated Cardigan in a great fall ensemble.

Please welcome Noelle of Tilly's Notions, a first time participant! What a great sweater!

Here is the darling Kezzie of KezzieAG in her cozy hooded top and earth tones!

Salazar of 14 Shades of Gray took inspiration from the strong black lines and pops of yellow in the art!

This is Jen from Librarian for Life Style who took inspiration from the black, brown, and bronze in the art.

Rebekah of From the Mixed-up Files is so stylish in her wild scarf and leather boots!

Pao of Project Minima is amazing, magical, and shaman-like in this look!  I love it!

Here's Teddi of Honeybee Lane in this cool dress- how perfect!

I was mostly thinking about fuzzy animals and pelts when I got dressed.  Here I am in an old fuzzy lounge hoodie, a newly thrifted leather top (for less than $2!), an old fuzzy skirt I love that my brothers think is hideous, old boots, and a thrifted belt.  Sorry Joni, I couldn't get a hold of any horns nor antlers!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

  1. Ooooo..cute. I love that cave art. It's great to see places like these as the professionals are allowed to photograph. I have gone some places...saw them...I thought, then I see a PBS special on the place and I think... is that the same place I visited?

  5. That fuzzy skirt reminds me of the fuzzy sweater I wore while I lived in Seattle (78-82).. ALL THE TIME that my husband (at the time) hated... ya, what do men know!

I think that fabric I was needing for this is actually in a box under my bed. oh well. I was mega busy making buttons and revamping my blog design.

Loving this blog hop idea and hope to participate next time... FOR SURE, for certain. :D

  20. I like those style imitating art posts a lot since it's so interesting to see what different ladies have created using their brownish pieces for instance. and those caves are still amazing in my eyes.
