Every few years, there is a month with two full moons. One of those times is now and it's called a blue moon, even though it's just regular colored. Which is a little disappointing to someone like me who is kind of literal. But, it's a good time to appreciate all the good things in life that only happen rarely, like getting to spend time with my friend J who lives in Amsterdam. Or getting to spend time with HH's cousins. Or when Project Runway doesn't kick anyone off. Or a weekend when school's in session when I don't have papers to grade over the weekend! Whoo hoo!

Aw Project Runway didn't kick anyone off? That's nice. I used to be really into that show. Havent watched it in a couple of seasons but that is good stuff. You dress is gorgeous. So many ruffles! :)

ReplyDeleteProject Runway! I really disliked Gunnar at the beginning of the season, but lately he's been lovely so I was so sad when I thought they were going to kick him off. His dress was cute, even if expected. So happy they kept everyone, 'cause I like Alicia a lot too!
I too tend to take phrases like this literarlly...or at least ponder where the phrase originated. You're looking lovely in your blue. Like you, I don't yet have papers to grade...but we did shop for appliances today. Success.

Is a blue moon and a harvest moon the same thing? I don't think so, but I love harvest moons because they look so huge.
