My friend Jamie hand-me-down-ed his old t-shirt last week! Isn't it cool? My Handsome Husband pointed out that it was literally "dated" but I haughtily replied it was "vintage." Jamie also gave me this Marc Jacobs keychain a long time ago after a trip he took to New York. So I decided to wear both items with my thrifted Marc Jacobs skirt in order to achieve a Marc Jacobs trifecta. Now if only I had this or this bag, I could have a Marc Jacobs quad-fecta! Maybe they'll turn up one sweet day at my local thrift store... Ha! A girl can dream... THANK YOU JAMIE!

Cute comfy look. Like Lisa I've been drooling over the Alexander Wang rocco handbag but I haven't really seen it in person so can't tell if it's too heavy. I was interested in the Celine mini luggage handbag but I saw it at Neiman's and it was too heavy. I also prefer well made handbags, to me it's an investment, they don't go on sale and prices increases every year so I feel like I get my monies worth.
ReplyDeleteI also bought a similar tee some time ago and it says Red Stripe which is a Jamaican lager beer. I was so happy when I saw the tee in a thrift store because I love that beer :P

So cute! I am on a summer buying hiatus until September. I bought a used apple green Tignanello handbag this spring that I'm using for my summer bag. It's a great size and has two outside pockets perfect for sunglasses and my cell phone.

ReplyDeleteI love marc jacobs clothing and believe me you are lucky to find a skirt by him in a thrift store. I have only ever found 2 pieces by him in all of my years scouring thrift. Love the outfit..so chic. dawn suitcase vignettes xo
