Trees Near Warter x2

This wonderful and gigantic piece of art is called Bigger Trees Near Warter and it's by David Hockney.
Jess of Animated Cardigan chose it for this week's Style Imitating Art series.

I was thinking of the painting's green grasses and brown trees.
Below is the t-shirt detail.
The pants were thrifted last week.
This is my eating Argentinian food outfit.

Here is the painting again. That's the artist, David Hockney, walking by it.

  Here I'm channelling the farmhouses.
This skirt is the Marc Jacobs skirt I thrifted last week.
These are the studded sandals I've been longing for since March.
Some of you with sharp eyes noticed them in yesterday's post and now I need to admit I posted out of order. These photos are from Friday and Saturday and the last post was Sunday's outfit. Ya got me.
My Handsome Husband said these shoes look aggressive,
like the kind of shoe you would have on to kick someone into a huge hole while screaming,
"THIS  IS  SPARTA!"
So then we went out for Greek food.

  1. LMAO well now that you mention it, the sandals do kind of remind me of 300. But either way, they are very cute!

  7. Haha, those shoes do not look aggressive! Sounds like something Kevin would say to me. I love that last outfit, that skirt is beautiful and your legs are INCREDIBLE!

  8. Holy WOW those shoes are cute! And that TOTALLY sounds like something that me and my husband would do. We're always basing our dinner choices on silly whims like a song that's stuck in our head or the fact that somebody is eating pizza on TV.

  11. I'll have to try the garlic ranch. I eat my fries and regular ones too with mayonnaise. I think it's a northern thing. I just have to say that those shoes are kick ass. Also, love THE SKIRT. It looks like it will be a great staple in your closet. I do not have an Argentinian food eating outfit, because I have never eaten Argentinian food, but I may have to get one. Like the painting too but what is with the "Warter"? Is that "Water" or is there a place called "Warter"?
