Here is what is making my Tuesday:
1. This pink skirt I thrifted from Goodwill on Friday. It's originally J Crew and I took it home for $4. Also, my Handsome Husband said this outfit is like something the T-Mobile Girl has in her closet. Yay! I love her pink outfits! And have you seen her closet? It's awesome. Now I need a motorcycle...
2. I like the detail on this cardigan.
3. A new friend brought me homemade cookies and bread! For no reason! She's cool.
4. An old friend sent a real postcard! She's old school cool.
5. This is growing in my yard!
What's going well for you today?
Daily Details:
- weather: no complaints whatsoever
- skirt, cost $4 divided by the 1 time I've worn it = $4 cost per wear
- cardigan, approximate current cost per wear = $6
- sandals, accpw $17
- bag, thrifted, cost $4 divided by the 7 times I've used it = $0.57 cost per use
Tuesday was indeed happy. Can you believe the gorgeous weather?
ReplyDeletePretty skirt. $4 is such a steal!
Anyone who brings you cookies is a friend!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink skirt and the poppy is so gorgeous! Nice shot.
You wore my favorite color today...PINK! Yay! I love your pretty cardigan too. Tuesday was a great day. I went to the movies with my sister and saw The Avengers...for the second time!
ReplyDeleteThe poppy looks like the color of your skirt, both lovely colors. Whenever you thrift I'm always reminded that our thrift stores are always so expensive. No way I can find a $4 J Crew skirt anywhere in CA. Glad you're having a good Tuesday. My allergies are really bad this week and I literally look like Gollum so I haven't been able to take pictures. I did however find a couple of dresses marked down so that totally made my day.
ReplyDeleteI had a total deja vu moment here :D on Sunday I gave self-made bread and cookies to my mom and grandma. anyway, I loved that post and your pretty sweater. those details indeed are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMaiken,
Maikeni blogi - part of me

Haha, it is the same color the T-Mobile girl wears! I really like this outfit :) The details on that cardigan are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty pink skirt! I want the T Mobile girl's pink bike too but for now I have to settle for my hubby's Harley, haha.

I love that skirt! It's flirty and fun and I feel kind of silly because we don't watch a lot of regular TV so I don't know about the T-Mobile girl (blush). But I think you look awesome even not knowing about her! I love the cardigan too.
ReplyDeleteGoing well for me today is the fact that the sun is shining, I went on a fantastic run this morning and tomorrow is my Friday. :)
Love the outfit! You had me at a full skirt with a cardigan. :) I really enjoyed the pics of things that make you happy, too.

I am FREAKING out over the beautiful poppies that are growing effortlessly in people's yard here in Seattle. There's at least 3 varieties, and some are growing like weeds. What gorgeous weeds this city has.
ReplyDeleteThat pink skirt is such a steal. Great hue of pink- bright and bold and the A-line cut is so flattering on your figure.
Love the skirt.
